I’ve known Eric Hogan for seventeen years now. Let me tell you a brief story that’s become important to me over this time. It’s about serendipity, a chance event that has beneficial consequences. One morning, after my daily gym workout in Des Moines, Washington, I happened to be in the locker room talking with another member about his real estate investments and I mentioned my ongoing search for a place to put some money to work.
